NAMFI Receives Computer Donation from Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia
The Namibian Maritime and Fisheries Institute (NAMFI) welcomed a courtesy visit and generous donation of computers from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, reinforcing the strong ties between the two institutions.
The computers were officially handed over by His Excellency Mirza Nurhidayat and received by NAMFI’s Acting Director, Mrs. Meriam Mwiya.
During the engagement, both leaders emphasized the importance of continued cooperation in maritime education and capacity building. They highlighted that access to modern technology plays a vital role in enhancing training, strengthening digital skills, and equipping students for the evolving demands of the maritime and fisheries sectors.
The donation represents a meaningful step in supporting NAMFI’s mission to deliver quality maritime education and training.
